Campfire Singalong

What you need

• A guitar, ukulele, or any instrument (optional - a cappella works fine)
• A phone with lyrics downloaded offline if needed

How to play

1. 1.Pick a starter song everyone knows - "Country Roads," "You Are My Sunshine," or any camp classic.
2. 2.Go around the circle: each person picks the next song, or passes.
3. 3.For repeat-after-me songs (Boom Chicka Boom, John Jacob), the leader sings a line and the group echoes.
4. 4.Keep going until the fire burns low or everyone is ready for bed.

Variations

• Request jar: write song names on scraps of paper and draw randomly.
• Story songs: pick songs that tell a full story (American Pie, The House of the Rising Sun for older groups).
• Kids led: let kids take turns as conductor, picking tempo and dynamics.
